Impatience

Haven't blogged for a long time. Since my visit to the Kadoorie Farm, I've been on a boat trip to watch Chinese White Dolphins and was surrounded by tens of the cute, pink and grey dolphins, attended a food tasting event full of delicious food and friendly people, watched a Chinese musical, Terracotta Warriors, that was different from the regular musical, and had dinner at Sorabol the authentic Korean Restaurant on Mother's Day. I've also been offered a job, though I decided to turn it down.

I'm getting ever more reluctant to listening to words that I don't like to hear. I get impatient, and I don't want to waste my time listening to things that are not of concern to me. Have I become one of those people who won't listen to truthful words that are hard on our ears? Have I become so self-absorbed that I don't care about anything else not of interest to me? Or have I just become efficient with my time, not wasting it on things that I don't care about?

that depends.

If the stuff you don't "want" to listen is just bad advise, then being impatience is ok.

If they are good advice and you just shut them down, then you may be going down a dangerous road.
