Luraville, Florida

It's now 7am here in Luraville, Florda. I drove up here at 5pm yesterday from Orlando and arrived at around 8:30pm. It was another new experience for me. My first time renting a car, and my first time driving three and a half hours on my own, not to mention in a completely new area and without a proper map. And I haven't driven for... two years? And two years ago it was only a brief few days' driving in Toronto. But... drivers here are much more disciplined than those in Toronto. Not much sign of road rage. So I was able to handle it fine. :)

I was pretty tired. I didn't quite fall asleep driving, but I wasn't getting as alert as I wanted towards the end. I'm so glad I decided to start my drive at 4pm instead of 3am. It wouldn't have been easy if I did it at 3am, having to deal with the darkness, navigation, and tiredness.

My day is starting now! Gotta get up now and get ready for class at 8am! I hope my instructor doesn't get too critical. He's known for his criticisms...

I was rewarded with a nice, clear night sky last night but I was too tired and it was too cold last night for me to appreciate it. Hopefully I'll get more done tonight. :)
