Delicious Homemade Dinner

Last night a colleague wanted some fun for Friday night. He invited two other colleagues and me over to his place for a little dinner party. They were all guys with me being he only girl. I've known for a long time that the host loves to cook and is a good cook. I was glad to finally be invited to taste his dishes. I never really talked to one of the invited colleagues before because he was new and we haven't had a chance to work together yet. It was a good opportunity for me to get to know him, and we have become more acquainted with each other. We had fun chatting, drinking wine, and playing Jenga before dinner was served.

We had clams and Chinese rice noodles ("fun-see") for our first dish. Then we had soy-sauce fried prawns, followed by some sort of shelled seafood ("聖子") with peas. The three dishes were really delicious. Then one of the invited guests itched for some cooking and decided to cook the steaks with fried garlic. Then the third colleague who I just newly got to know cooked the vegetables. All were delicious dishes. I just found it really amusing that I had three guys cook for me, while I just sat there and ate the whole night! (I kind of helped with serving...)
