Stomach Discomfort

I've noticed having a funny sensation in my stomach the past few months. It's not exactly uncomfortable. It somehow makes me want to eat. Perhaps in my mind I think it's caused by gastric acid and eating would relieve that sensation. I once thought it's an early symptom of gastroesophageal reflux, but my discomfort seems too minor to be symptomatic of GERD. This discomfort is not as strong as a heartburn, but it makes me feel warm in the stomach. It's a bit like how it feels after having a very spicy meal. I think it tends to occur two to three hours after a meal. I hope it's nothing serious and will go away on its own.

Heartburn usually happens right after meal, or when you lie down. so I believe what you are experiencing is not heartburn.
