Trailwalker Practice #1

We had our first practice yesterday. We went from Chi Fu (Pokfulam) to Parkview, then to Braemar Hill, for around 17km. The heat was more than unbearable at 34C. I sucked. I really have to work on my cardio and my quadriceps. I think I was in best shape in 2004. After I started going to school for my part-time studies, I almost completely stopped all my physical activities. Meanwhile, I ate like a pig. Now it's payback time. This is a good training for my determination. I remember back in Canada I whole-heartedly believed that everything's in the mind. If my mind says I can do it, I can do it. And this isn't only limited to physical activities. I should remind myself of that again. I'm now lacking motivation because I'm no longer competitive or frustrated. It's time for some mind work besides physical training.

Last Sun was blxxdy hot for a 17km hike! Well done!

I reckon doing an unsatifying job for years wears ppl out. Afterall, like it or not, we do spend most of our time awake at work.

Change ur job quick or enter some competition, even though u were never the competitive type. At least it should do some good in energizing u.
